Will Target re-open account?

Monday, September 29th, 2008
I have a Target charge-off on my report. The credit line was only $200- the charge-off amount was $290- I believed I settled and paid about 1/2 that amount to have them close it- and quit charging late fees- overlimits etc. My question is, I am in a much better position financially now- is there any chance they will let me completely pay it off and reinstate they card? (I doubt they will, but has anyone ever tried this?) The chargeoff only shows on exoerian- its missing from TU and EQ has it as a closed account. I like the age on the account so I think it might be better to have it report even as a chargeoff.
